Working at Food Service Administration office located at 6625 S Elite Dr Boise, ID 83716 

Hours: 7am - 4pm

Classified Salary Schedule

• Bachelor’s Degree required and degree in Food and Nutrition preferred.


• Registered dietitian or be eligible to be a registered dietitian preferred.


• Successful work experience in institutional food service preferred.


• Ability to train, supervise, coach, and evaluate school food service personnel.


• Ability to provide and coordinate food services, nutrition education, and marketing for students, faculty, and administration.


• Ability to work with families of children with special dietary needs (food intolerances, food allergies, diabetes, etc.)


• Learn and apply Federal Regulations related to school nutrition programs.


• Ability to provide in-service training and implement special projects.


• Willingness to work with diverse age groups, abilities, and education levels. 


• Comfortable speaking in front of small and large groups.


• Ability to present information in a concise, easy to understand method.


• Microsoft Office software, email and internet knowledge preferred. 


• Willingness to learn the food service software program (WINSNAP).


• Ability to work independently and in group setting.


• Ability to work in a fast pace, changing environment with multiple interruptions.
