This position will be joining our Operations Team. Our Human Resource (HR) department is broken into four (4) teams: Benefits, Certified, Classified, and Operations. The Operations Team performs a wide variety of duties that support the other HR teams and the District. The primary duties and responsibilities are listed below.

  • Provides fingerprinting and badging for District substitutes, coaches, student teachers, and other ancillary employees.
  • Maintains employee records utilizing District systems
  • Recruit, onboard, and offboard District substitutes
  • Onboard District athletic coaches and positions
  • Onboard other non-regular employee groups (i.e. on-call interpreters, interns)
  • Complete written and/or verbal verifications of employment
  • Work with employees on changing their name with the District
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:  

Education & Experience



  • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or relevant field preferred

  • Proven work experience in human resources and/or payroll


Computer Qualifications



  • PC literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Programs

  • Experience with and knowledge of Google Apps for Education preferred

  • Ability to learn new programs

  • Ability to accurately perform data entry into District systems


Interpersonal Qualifications



  • Strong customer service skills

  • Ability to interact with peers, District staff, and the public in a professional manner

  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with peers, District staff, the public, and in group presentations and meetings

  • Ability to work in a team setting while still being able to work independently
